Just days after releasing the song, Ryan Trey and Bryson Tiller join forces in the video for their Vinylz-produced collaboration “Nowhere to Run.”
In the dark and mysterious clip, the #JUSTAREGULARDAY signee sits in a yellow room on yellow bed sheets before getting up close with his female co-star. He later meets up with Bryson for their joint scenes in front of a car.
“This is my favorite visual so far,” Trey told Complex, “from the colors, to the mannerisms, the movements, and the natural feeling it gives you. People are definitely going to like this one. It’s different.”
During an interview with Billboard, Tiller praised his collaborator. “I think Ryan has the potential to become one of the dopest artists in the game,” he said. “He’s only 19 and already has so much to say.”
Following the release of his 2018 debut August, Trey has been building buzz and winning fans including Tiller, DJ Khaled, and LeBron James.
