Teyana Taylor Performs 'Issues/Hold On' on 'Ellen'

Teyana Taylor brought peace, love, and soul to “Ellen.”

The R&B songstress made her debut on the daytime talk show on Thursday (April 18). She turned the set into a scene straight out of “Soul Train” while performing her K.T.S.E. hit “Issues/Hold On.” Following an introduction from a Don Cornelius-like host, Teyana emerged on stage in shimmering gold bell-bottoms. Dancers get down to her soulful sounds while she performed under a disco ball. She capped off the funky set with a Soul Train line, and Ellen even joined in.

The talk show host also surprised Teyana by presenting her with a gold plaque for “Issues/Hold On” off last year’s acclaimed album K.T.S.E.

Teyana, who just directed Monica’s “Commitment” video, will join Cardi B, City Girls, and Nicole Bus on the “Femme It Forward” concert series, taking place May 25 and 26 in Syracuse and Saratoga Springs, New York.
