Arrest Warrant Issued for Offset Over Cell Phone Smackdown

  /  05.02.2019

Offset is a wanted man.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for the Migos rapper for allegedly smacking a cell phone out of a fan’s hand at a Target store in Sandy Springs, Ga. According to TMZ, Offset was shopping when a fan named Junior Gibbons pulled out his iPhone and tried taking video of the rapper.

The fan said, “What up, Offset?” to which Cardi B’s husband reportedly responded, “Get the f*** out of my face.” Offset then knocked the phone out of Gibbons’ hand and onto the floor, shattering the screen.

Cops investigated and got a warrant after Gibbons filed a police report last Friday. It’s unclear what charges Offset could face, but it’s considered a felony because the phone costs $800.

Just last month, Offset was charged with three counts following an incident in July 2018 where he was arrested for allegedly making an illegal lane change.
