New Music: Madonna & Swae Lee - 'Crave'

  /  05.09.2019

Swae Lee’s star keeps rising. Following collaborations with Beyoncé, Post Malone, Travis Scott, and Nicki Minaj, one half of Rae Sremmurd teams up with the legendary Madonna on “Crave.”

The pop queen admits to having dangerous cravings, while Swae adds his smooth flow to the mellow duet. “It’s do or die and my love life can get crazy,” he sings. “It’s on the line, girl, you’re risking everything / It’s over-X-rated.”

“Crave” is set to appear on Madonna’s upcoming 14th album Madame X, which also features Quavo (“Future”) and Maluma, who guests on the lead single “Medellín.” “The whole inspiration for this record was completely and utterly based on going out in Lisbon and trying to make friends,” Madge told Beats 1.

In addition to Madonna, Swae has collaborated with Drake on an unreleased track, which Virgil Abloh previewed during his Coachella set. Rae Sremmurd is also readying their fourth album for release later this year.

Madame X drops June 14. Stream “Crave” below.
