Video: Cosha TG - 'Live It Up'
Following the release of his Summer Nights EP in March, Cosha TG drops the video for his Timbaland-produced single “Live It Up.”
The clip documents a day in the life of the burgeoning Chicago singer-rapper, who is signed to Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group/Def Jam. The 21-year-old, born Marcus Lindsey, shows off his signature style and “melodic flow” as he hits the streets of L.A. with his crew.
Speaking to Rap-Up, Cosha revealed the inspiration behind the carefree anthem. “‘Live It Up’ was me enjoying the present moment and speaking my future into existence,” he said. “‘Live It Up’ was the first song I made off my EP Summer Nights. I was fresh off the plane, thinking, ‘Next time it’s gonna be a jet…’ Uber’d to the studio and said, ‘Next time I’m gonna take the Corvette.’ It’s just about enjoying the present and envisioning the future.”
After releasing his debut single “Out the Gym” in 2015, Cosha attended college before leaving school to pursue his music career full-time. He signed to Good Vibes Forever in 2017 and joined Mosley Music in 2018, where he released his six-track EP Summer Nights.
