Fresh off her two wins at the BET Awards, Cardi B drops the highly-anticipated video for “Press.” The scandalous NSFW clip, directed by Jora Frantzis (“Money”), opens with Cardi making out with another woman and a man during a threesome. She then smokes a cigarette before cocking her gun and firing shots.
As fans and media wait outside, the Grammy-winning rapper is hauled into an interrogation room. She strips down completely naked, wearing nothing but heels, while dancing alongside her nude female dancers, and dons a variety of high-fashion looks at her trial. After an explosive courtroom scene in front of the judge, she leaves a bloody mess as dead bodies lay scattered across the floor.
In the final scene, the 26-year-old is dragged to her jail cell in an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs before violently drowning her cellmate in the toilet.
Two days after opening the BET Awards with a performance of “Clout” and “Press,” Cardi was in a Queens courtroom where she pleaded not guilty to felony assault charges in her strip club brawl case.
