New Music: Fat Joe, Dre, & Lil Wayne - 'Pullin'

Thirteen years since “Make It Rain,” Fat Joe and Lil Wayne reunite on their latest collaboration “Pullin” featuring Dre.

Over a sample of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On,” Joey Crack cooks up a fiery verse, while Dre borrows Wayne’s classic “Phone Home” line: “We are not the same / I am a martian.” Weezy comes through with some rapid-fire rhymes to finish it off (“I’m from the jungle, not the petting zoo / And you look edible”).

“Pullin” follows Fat Joe and Wayne’s past collaborations including 2006’s “Make It Rain” and 2012’s “Yellow Tape.” Joe is now working on Family Ties, his first album since 2017’s Plata O Plomo with Remy Ma. “Finally the wait is OVER we will begin Operation Paralyze The SUMMER,” he said.

Tonight, Weezy is set to kick off his co-headlining North American tour with blink-182 in Columbus, Ohio.
