Bow Wow Slammed for Disrespecting Ciara

Over a decade after their relationship ended, Bow Wow is still talking about his ex.

During a recent club performance at Atlanta’s Elleven45 Lounge, the Ohio rapper made a disrespectful comment about Ciara when their 2005 collaboration “Like You” was played. While rapping over the track, he decided to add his own commentary.

“I had this bitch first,” he said of Russell Wilson’s now wife.

Bow Wow faced backlash from social media, who ripped him for the distasteful remark about the mother of two. “Bow Wow called Ciara a bitch & said he had her first … the level of corny is just so sad bro,” said one Twitter user, while another added, “Ciara has these men shook. If it’s not Future, it’s Bow Wow displaying stupidity.”

Bow Wow and Ciara dated for two years from 2004-2006. On the last season of “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta,” the 32-year-old rapper revealed that breaking up with Ciara was one of his biggest regrets.

His ex-fiancée, Erica Mena, recently claimed that he was physically abusive to her and Ciara during their relationships.

“I’m the tough girl so my story was never the truth but y’all see how round 4 played out. He broke Ciara finger years ago, so this been going on,” wrote Mena.
