New Music: Bryson Tiller - 'Blame'

  /  07.23.2019

Bryson Tiller is back.

After remaining out of the spotlight for most of the year, the Trapsoul crooner returns with his first solo track of 2019. On “Blame,” Pen Griffey addresses the cracks in his relationship (“Girl, it’s on you / Tell me what you wanna do”) while facing his own demons.

“Although I hate the feeling / I gotta face the feeling,” he sings. “I gotta feel that shit / Dead the feeling / Kill that shit.”

Tiller has been working on his long-awaited third album Serenity, the follow-up to 2017’s True to Self. In December, he revealed that the album was delayed until further notice. “Album delayed til I’m happy with it,” he wrote. “I understand that people these days love to have new music like every 4 months but that’s just not how i work.”
