Hot off the release of his new album, the West Coast veteran stopped by “Nick Cannon Mornings” on Power 106, where he revealed the 5 MCs that paved the way for an icon like himself.
He started off with Slick Rick, followed by Ice Cube. Rakim earned the third spot on his coveted list. Fourth place was a toss-up between Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One. And the fifth spot? The Dogg himself.
Snoop pays homage to himself on his new album I Wanna Thank Me, which also features a collaboration with one of his top 5 picks, Slick Rick. Other guests include Chris Brown, YG, Mustard, Wiz Khalifa, Nate Dogg, Trey Songz, Swizz Beatz, and Nate Dogg.
