Blac Youngsta Arrested on Felony Weapon Charge

Blac Youngsta is in jail for allegedly carrying prohibited ammo while riding in a car.

The Memphis rapper and three friends were driving around Houston on Wednesday afternoon when they were pulled over by cops for running a red light. According to the TMZ report, officers reportedly smelled marijuana and found three pistols and weed after searching the GMC Yukon.

Youngsta was charged with felony possession of a prohibited weapon (in this case, armor-piercing ammunition). It’s unclear if the ammo was loaded in a handgun or separate.

Another passenger, Marcus Dion Cartwright, was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon. The two other people in the vehicle were not charged. Blac Youngsta is currently being held in Harris County Jail.

In May 2017, the “Booty” hitmaker was arrested in connection with the shooting of Young Dolph. All the charges were eventually dropped.
