Dave East Announces Debut Album 'Survival'

  /  10.04.2019

Dave East is ready for his debut.

After conquering the mixtape circuit, the Harlem rapper has announced that his highly-anticipated debut album Survival will arrive on Nov. 8. He shared a trailer and also dropped a video for his new single “Alone” featuring Jacquees.

In August, the 31-year-old MC released his two-song Survival Pacc featuring “Everyday” with Gunna and “Wanna be a G” featuring Max B.

The album has been a long time coming for East, who signed to Def Jam via Mass Appeal in 2016. He released 14 mixtapes and earned acclaim for 2017’s Paranoia: A True Story, which featured collaborations with Nas, Wiz Khalifa, Jeezy, and Chris Brown, who appeared on the single “Perfect.”

Following the album’s release, East will hit the road on his “Survival Tour,” which kicks off in Atlanta on Nov. 22. He can also be seen in Hulu’s new miniseries “Wu-Tang: An American Saga.”
