Tinashe Returns with New Single 'Die a Little Bit'

Tinashe is back.

After splitting with her label and management, the R&B sensation returns with a new single and video for “Die a Little Bit” featuring British rapper Ms Banks. The clip finds the 26-year-old singer in an underground club where she catches the eye of her male co-star and vibes out. All eyes are on Nashe as she turns up and shows off her moves, while Ms Banks brings some international flavor from across the pond.

“Drink, smoke, dance, vibe a little bit,” sings Tinashe on the hook. “Fuck, change, ride, die a little bit.”

She is now gearing up to release Songs for You, the follow-up to last year’s Joyride and her first project since going independent. She has been previewing new music for fans at listening parties in London and Los Angeles.

“Creatively, I just feel like I needed to go through what I went through in order to be the person that I am today and to get back to my roots,” said Tinashe. “You pretty much put your heart and soul and emotions into all these songs and then you put them out there for the world to judge and tear down and pick apart. It’s terrifying and it can really mess with your head.”
