Kanye West Claims Democrats Are Making Black People Get Abortions

  /  10.29.2019

Kanye West continues to speak out on controversial issues.

In the wake of his gospel album Jesus Is King, the outspoken Trump supporter addressed criticism that he turned his back on the black community, while claiming that Democrats have “brainwashed” African-Americans into getting abortions.

“We’re [black Americans] brainwashed out here, bro. Come on, man. This is a free man talking,” he told Big Boy (via Page Six). “Democrats had us voting [for] Democrats with food stamps for years.”

He continued, “What are you talking about? Guns in the ’80s, taking the fathers out the home, Plan B, lowering our votes, making us abort our children … Thou shall not kill.”

West also defended his support for Trump. “I’d rather deal with somebody who call me an n-word to my face than a person that signed me for a lifetime deal on a 255-page contract. I’d rather know what I’m dealing with.”

When asked whether he’s still a voice for the black community, Ye replied, “Absolutely.”

While he’s not trying to force his politics on anyone, he doesn’t want to be told who he should support. “The most racist thing a person can tell me is that I’m supposed to choose something based on my race,” said Kanye.

“I’m not telling nobody to not vote Democrat,” he said, adding, “I love Obama, I love lemonade, I love Wingstop, I love Polos, I love Jordans. I love Michael Jordan.”

And he’s not concerned whether his polarizing views affect his fan base. “I’m only afraid of my daddy, God. I done been 15 years. I’m telling you that God is showing you that you can have your own thoughts, bro. I been canceled before.”
