Tory Lanez' 'Chixtape 5' Debuts at No. 2

Chixtape 5 hits the charts.

The fifth installment in Tory Lanez’ mixtape series debuts at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 83,000 equivalent album units, of which 9,000 were in album sales. The Toronto native earns his fourth consecutive top five effort following Love Me Now? (No. 4 in 2018), Memories Don’t Die (No. 3, 2018), and I Told You (No. 4, 2016).

Chixtape 5 was the most-streamed album of the week, with 94 million on-demand audio streams for its 18 tracks, which include collaborations with Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, and more.

Celine Dion edged out Tory for the No. 1 spot. The pop diva’s new album Courage moved 113,000 equivalent album units in its first week, marking her fifth No. 1 album and first chart-topper in over 17 years.

Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding drops 2-3 with 69,000 equivalent album units, while YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s AI YoungBoy 2 dips 3-6 with 44,000 units.

Summer Walker’s Over It slides 4-7 (42,000) in its seventh straight week in the top 10. DaBaby’s KIRK sits at No. 8 (37,000), while Kanye West’s Jesus Is King rounds out the top 10 (30,000).
