Solange Performs 'When I Get Home' Medley on 'Tonight Show'

  /  12.03.2019

Solange takes over late night.

The R&B songstress performed a selection of tracks from her 2019 album When I Get Home on Monday’s episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Joined by her band, backup singers, and dancers, she brought the project to life with an elaborate nine-minute mini-concert including “Taking on the Light,” “Things I Imagined,” “Down with the Clique,” “Binz,” and “Almeda,” plus a new composition in celebration of the release of the director’s cut of her interdisciplinary performance art film, which will be available at digital platforms next week.

Solange released When I Get Home, the follow-up to 2016’s A Seat at the Table, in March featuring contributions from Gucci Mane, Playboi Carti, The-Dream, Tyler, the Creator, Cassie, Earl Sweatshirt, Metro Boomin, and more.
