Catch her off the ‘Gram.

Bhad Bhabie says she’s taking a break from Instagram for her mental health after being subjected to disparaging comments. On Tuesday, the 16-year-old rapper, also known as Danielle Bregoli, told her 17 million followers that she is done with social media…for now.

“Due to my mental health I will b taking a small break from this app,” she began. “I hate to say it but y’all won! Congrats mission complete! y’all made the lil 16 year old completely loose it!”

She says that the shaming and trolling, including comments about her appearance, were starting to affect her well-being. “Social media has not only made me who I am but also is every reason I can’t sleep at night,” she said. “Imagine being called a racist white cunt every second of they day… I show off a tattoo they say I’m tryna b black…I defend my self then boom I’m labeled as a racist.”

She added, “There’s no winning as a celebrity on this app everything I do will b considered wrong… [imagine] being me for second you just get a cute new wig and wanna show it off then the minute you post your mood is instantly killed bc comment section if flooded with ‘this slut wants to b black so bad’ while wearing a straight blonde wig….. this shit is really draining.”

She plans to return to Instagram, but when she does, she will be silencing the comments. “When I do come back I will b Turing all my comments off. Have a nice day,” she said.

Her announcement was met with support from fans. “Mental health is on #1 keep doing you babe we will always support you,” wrote one of her followers, while another added, “Sad y’all did this to a poor little girl smh she is a child y’all at the end of the day.”

Bhad Bhabie, who went platinum with her Lil Yachty-assisted hit “Gucci Flip Flops,” previously lashed out at the public for not supporting her because of her background and skin color. “I promise you these bitches anit on that but when it comes to me a bitch that can really rap ya’ll don’t wanna fuck with me cuz how I came up and bc I’m white,” she wrote in July.

She is now readying new music for release this year. “more hits coming. more records gon b broken,” she said.
