While under quarantine, Tory Lanez is keeping the vibes coming.

On Monday, the Toronto rapper-singer dropped “W,” the first release from his upcoming mixtape The New Toronto 3. Over a piano-driven instrumental, Tory delivers “one of my realest verses” as he reflects on his humble beginnings (“I remember being so broke, shorty didn’t want to have no babies”) and his influence (“When you keep that shit too real, they wanna fabricate you”).

The single cover is also close to his heart and features a photo of his son. “Yes that’s my son on the cover THUGGIN ! Lol,” wrote Tory.

He previously announced a March release date for the third installment in his New Toronto mixtape series, which started in 2015. The New Toronto 3 will also serve as his final release on Interscope Records. “And it’s no bad blood with the label @Interscope,” Tory tweeted. “I HAD A 5 ALBUM DEAL ….I GAVE THEM 12 PROJECTS /ALBUMS if u include all the mixtapes with original music.”
