21 Savage and Summer Walker Team Up on 'Secret'

The secret’s out.

After his epic R&B cover session on Instagram Live, 21 Savage teams up with Summer Walker for his own R&B jam called “Secret.”

On the Kid Hazel-produced track, which samples Xscape’s “My Little Secret,” 21 serenades his longtime lover. “From the sixth grade to the ninth grade / She did my homework / Put my pistol in your book bag / You didn’t even own a purse,” he raps. “You done held me down from the jump start, you deserve a verse.”

Summer turned 24 last week, but she wrote the song when she was only 21. “lol oh shit I did this when I was like 21 almost forgot about this track,” she said.

Savage has been working on the follow-up to 2018’s I Am > I Was, while teasing a sequel to his Savage Mode mixtape with Metro Boomin. Meanwhile, Summer can be heard on “‘Flawless’ Do It Well, Pt. 3” off dvsn’s new album A Muse in Her Feelings.
