NAV's 'Good Intentions' Debuts at No. 1

Back to back.

NAV tops the Billboard 200 for the second time with his new album Good Intentions, which earned 135,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Over half of the sum, 73,000 units, was driven by merchandise/album bundles sold via NAV’s official webstore.

Good Intentions becomes the Toronto rapper-producer’s second No. 1 since Bad Habits, which opened atop the chart in April 2019 with 82,000 equivalent album units.

Taking to social media, a grateful NAV thanked his fans for their support. “I want to start off by thanking my family, friends, @cashxo, @theweeknd, all the artists and producers involved and who could forget my LEGENDARY FANS!! #1 again!!! 135k first week!!” he wrote.

Kehlani scores her highest-charting and best week yet with It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, which enters at No. 2 with 83,000 units (25,000 in album sales). Her 2017 debut, SweetSexySavage, opened at No. 3 with 58,000 units. This is her third top 10 effort following 2019’s While We Wait mixtape, which peaked at No. 9.

Lil Durk also makes his debut with Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 at No. 5 with 57,000 equivalent album units, while Bad Bunny’s surprise release Las Que No Iban a Salir comes in at No. 7 (42,000).

Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes slips from No. 2 to No. 3 in its second week (79,000), Lil Baby’s My Turn drops 3-4 (72,000), and DaBaby’s Blame It on Baby falls 4-6 (45,000).

Elsewhere in the top 10, Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake is down 5-8 (42,000), The Weeknd’s After Hours drops 6-9 (40,000), and Post Malone’s Hollywood Bleeding slips 8-10 (37,000).
