6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj's 'Trollz' Debuts at No. 1
Hate it or love it, 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj are on top.
The rappers blast onto the Billboard Hot 100 this week with their collaboration “Trollz,” which debuts at No. 1.
The song marks 6ix9ine’s first leader on the Hot 100. He previously peaked at No. 3 with both “GOOBA” and 2018’s “FEFE” featuring Minaj and Murda Beatz.
Nicki earns her second Hot 100 No. 1 and first in a lead role. In May, she topped the chart as a featured guest on Doja Cat’s “Say So.” She now has 19 top 10s and 110 appearances on the Hot 100, besting Elvis Presley for the third-most entries among all acts.
Tekashi celebrated his first No. 1 by addressing the naysayers and accusing the streaming services of “blackballing” him. “#1 ON @billboard YOU CANT STOP ME. YOU CANT BLACKBALL ME,” wrote the controversial MC. “YOU CAN SAY WHAT EVER IM NUMBER 1 AND YOU CANT TAKE THAT FROM ME I WENT UP AGAINST THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND WON!!!!!!!!! @nickiminaj WE ARE THE FUCKING MONSTERS OF THIS SHIT I LOVE YOU MOMMAZZZ.”

“Trollz” sold 116,000 units, the highest weekly sales sum since Taylor Swift’s “Me!” in May 2019. Sales were also driven by over a dozen physical/digital merch bundles available on 6ix9ine and Minaj’s webstores, as well as an alternate version of the song featuring Minaj’s original verse.
Elsewhere in the top 10, DaBaby’s “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Ricch falls to No. 2, after two weeks at No. 1. Lil Baby’s protest song “The Bigger Picture” enters at No. 3, earning the Atlanta rapper his third Hot 100 top 10.
Megan Thee Stallion’s former chart-topper “Savage” featuring Beyoncé dips 2-4, while Doja Cat “Say So” featuring Minaj slides 4-6.
