Megan Thee Stallion Recounts Shooting, Reveals She Had Surgery to Remove Bullets

Megan Thee Stallion is recalling the “worst experience” of her life.

The Houston rapper returned to Instagram Live on Monday for the first time since the shooting involving Tory Lanez earlier this month. During the 10-minute livestream, an emotional Meg recounted the traumatic night where she was shot multiple times in the feet.

“I was shot in both of my feet and I had to get surgery to get the bullets taken out—and it was super scary,” she said as she wiped away tears. “It was super scary. It was just the worst experience of my life and it’s not funny.”

She also addressed the various reports claiming to know what went down. “I see a lot of people painting fake ass narratives and making up stories and all this other wack ass shit,” said Meg before thanking her supporters, “but I also see a lot of people that have been like very supportive and I just really appreciate that.”

Meg clapped back at those who have turned her pain into a joke. “It was nothing for y’all to start going and making up fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do shit,” she said. “And thank God that the bullets didn’t touch bones. They didn’t break tendons. I know my mama and my daddy, my granny had to be looking out for me with that one ’cause where the bullets hit at, it missed everything, but the motherfu**ers was in there.”

She said she wasn’t “protecting anybody,” but wasn’t quite ready to speak. However, that hasn’t stopped others including Cam’ron, 50 Cent, and Draya Michele from weighing in on the events. “So f**k y’all and the fake ass blogs and y’all fake ass sources and my fake ass friends,” she said.

Meg held back tears as she reflected on the loss of her parents. “My mama was my best friend. I’m still really not over that. So you gotta fill like your space with a bunch of people that you think is making you happy. Like it’s a lot,” she said. “I was moving too fast. I wasn’t taking enough time for myself. I thought I was ready to be around a bunch of motherfu**ers, I thought I was ready to give good energy to other people and other people wasn’t ready to give good energy to me.”

She’s had time to “pray on it” and is feeling “a lot better.” She also had a message for those making disrespectful comments. “I ain’t never seen so many grown ass men chime in on shit that wasn’t their business in the first motherfu**ing place,” she said. “Shut the f**k up when shit don’t have nothing to do with you.”

The shooting allegedly occurred during a dispute between Meg and Tory in their chauffeured vehicle following a party at Kylie Jenner’s house. Meg did not mention Tory by name, but cops are looking at him as the possible trigger man. He was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.
