Saweetie Talks Quarantining with Quavo, Sex Life, & Babies

Saweetie is keeping her love locked down.

The “ICY GRL” has been spending time in quarantine with her boyfriend Quavo. While the pandemic has tested some relationships, the couple is getting along just fine. During an interview with Page Six, Saweetie dished on their private life and why she’s practicing safe sex.

“I was not nervous about being in quarantine and seeing Quavo because safe sex is great sex so you got to use that latex,” she said.

While she hopes to start a family one day, she’s not in any rush. “I have a lot of goals for myself and, if we’re being honest, my parents had me at a young age, so my grandparents raised me,” explained the 27-year-old. “I never really had that relationship with my mom and my dad. So whenever I have a kid, I want to make sure I have time for them, and right now I don’t.”

The two, who met through social media, recently opened up about their relationship in a joint interview for GQ.

“He’s always been fine to me,” Saweetie said of the Migos rapper. “In a group chat [with friends], I would screenshot his picture and be like, ‘Damn, this ni**a is fine.'”

Quavo feels comfortable when he’s around Saweetie. “When she talk to me and when we started talking to each other, the Saweetie shit go out the window and the Quavo shit go out the window. I give her Quavious. I give her what my mama calls me,” he said. “I don’t let people inside my life, and I let her inside. And she’s helping me grow up. She’s showing me how to love a woman.”

When she’s not quarantined with Quavo, Saweetie has been focused on her upcoming album Pretty Bitch Music. In June, she dropped the first single “Tap In.” “I’ve been recording a lot. I feel like a big body of work is overdue. So, I’m ready to give that to the world and to my fans,” she told Apple Music.
