Ty Dolla $ign Enlists Nicki Minaj for New Single 'Expensive'

Ty Dolla $ign is calling on the Queen for his next single.

Taking to social media, the L.A. hitmaker announced that his new single “Expensive” featuring Nicki Minaj will drop Friday, Aug. 28. He shared the cover art and a snippet of the track, which finds him singing about his girl’s expensive taste.

“She’s so expensive, okay / Beemers or the Benzes, okay,” sings Ty. “Lambo or the double R truck, yeah yeah / She gon’ let a superstar f**k.”

But fans will have to wait to hear Nicki’s verse. Back in April, Ty teased the song along with a collaboration with YG.

Ty is putting the final touches on his third studio album, Dream House, the follow-up to 2017’s Beach House 3. “My new album is done and it’s coming very soon,” he said. “Shout to my fans for being patient while I made sure it was perfect, it’s worth the wait…it’s my best work yet. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!”

Last month, he debuted the first single “Ego Death” featuring Kanye West, FKA Twigs, and Skrillex.
