Russ and Kehlani Team Up on 'Take You Back'

Fresh off her collaboration with Disclosure, Kehlani links with Russ on his new single “Take You Back,” which finds the two trying to repair a broken relationship.

A remorseful Russ pleads with Kehlani to take him back on the guitar-driven duet, but Kehlani has some reservations. “Take you back, why should I take you back? / When you wanna f**k this up,” she sings. “I love you but I don’t love riding this ride / You know it ain’t right.”

Taking to Instagram, Russ called the song one of his favorites. “This is really years in the making..one of my favorite songs ever is officially out!!!” he told fans.

Kehlani can also be heard alongside Syd on “Birthday” off Disclosure’s new album Energy.
