Lil Durk Claims 6ix9ine's Camp Offered Him $3 Million to Troll

  /  08.30.2020

6ix9ine and Lil Durk continue to take shots at each other on social media.

Earlier this week, Tekashi announced that his new album TattleTales would arrive on Sept. 4. He also shared a video from his trip to Durk’s hometown of Chicago where he claimed to pay his respects to Durk’s late cousin Nuski, who was killed by gun violence. In the clip, 6ix9ine holds a bouquet of flowers and gets down to pray on the street.

“CAME TO OBLOCK .. came to pay my respect to @lildurk cousin nuski who was killed by gun violence,” Tekashi captioned the video. “We need to change as a community #RIP NUSKI.”

His disrespectful trolling seemed to trigger a response from Durk. Moments later, the Chi-town MC announced that his new album The Voice would drop the same day, Sept. 4.

During an Instagram Live, Durk put Tekashi on blast and claimed that his camp offered him $3 million to keep the feud going. “That bitch ass label called me, somebody from his camp called somebody from my camp, talking about they give me $3 million to keep trolling with this ni**a,” said Durk.

However, he says he turned it down. “This shit dead. I never turn my back on the fu**in’ streets—ever,” he said. “I’m a fu**in’ voice. That money shit ain’t gon’ change a motherfu**er.”

Durk also vowed to never mention 6ix9ine again. “I ain’t gone never respond to this ni**a ever fu**in’ again,” he said.

Prior to this, the two also traded jabs over their chart rankings. Durk currently has the No. 2 song on the Billboard Hot 100 with his Drake collaboration “Laugh Now Cry Later.” In response to an IG post from Akademiks, 6ix9ine attributed the song’s success to Drake, but Durk clapped back, pointing out that Nicki Minaj is featured on Tekashi’s chart-topping hit “TROLLZ.”
