Lil Baby's Album 'My Turn' Certified Double Platinum

  /  09.11.2020

The year of Lil Baby continues.

Six months after its release, the rapper’s album My Turn has been certified double platinum by the RIAA. He becomes the first and only artist of 2020 to have a 2x platinum album in the U.S.

My Turn, which features Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Future, and more, was released in February and spent 5 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It is currently the year’s highest-selling and highest-streaming album. A deluxe edition with six additional tracks arrived in May.

Taking to Instagram, Baby reflected on the milestone moment. “Two Times Platinum In 6 1/2 months ……Thank You ,” he wrote.

Earlier this year, he tied Prince and Paul McCartney with 47 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 as 12 tracks off My Turn charted.

To celebrate his latest achievement, Lil Baby has released the video for “Forget That” featuring Rylo Rodriguez, who is signed to Baby’s 4PF label.
