H.E.R. Releases New Single 'Damage'

  /  10.21.2020

Ahead of her “SNL” debut this weekend, H.E.R. releases her new single “Damage.”

On the melodic track, produced by Cardiak and Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, an emotional H.E.R. showcases her vulnerability. “Careful what you take for granted, yeah / ‘Cause with me, know you could do damage,” she sings.

Filmed at the now shuttered Roxie Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, the video finds H.E.R. taking the stage to join her band for a stunning performance.

“Damage” is set to appear on H.E.R.’s upcoming full-length album, due later this year.

This weekend, she will make her debut as musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” with host Adele, who gushed over H.E.R. “I am besides myself that H.E.R will be the musical guest!!” said Adele. “I love her SO much I can’t wait to melt into a flaming hot mess when she performs.”
