RunAway Generation’s RND Freeman and Jupleci Debut New Video ‘Picasso’

The much-anticipated music video for the explosive track “Picasso” by RunAway Generation signees RND Freeman and Jupleci is finally out. Both rappers’ sound is influenced by tones from the early ’90s mixed with contemporary rap. Their unique lyricism, style, and content are instantly recognizable. Not only do they have what it takes to compete with the industry’s greats, but they also have knowledge of hip-hop culture.

The visual is an original creation centered around themes of sports anchors and commentators with Jupleci and RND Freeman interacting with each other in an unpredictable setting. Despite life’s difficulties, they never lost their passion for creativity and remained determined that the world would hear their music. The ambition, dedication, and consistency displayed by the Canadian duo has will help break stigmas about what rappers should sound, look, and act like.

RND Freeman puts it best, “The label ‘rapper’ comes with this negative stigma, so we wanted to clarify that we’re artists.”

Jupleci, talking about his connection to music and his drive to create, explains that “in this life, it’s either you create or you appreciate somebody else’s creation.”
