Kodak Black Shows Off 'Trump Ties' Ring

Kodak Black is showing his loyalty to Donald Trump with a new ring.

After his sentence was commuted by the former president, the “ZEZE” rapper commemorated the occasion with a diamond championship ring inscribed with “Trump Ties” on one side, while the other side features what he calls his “date of emancipation.” He showed off his Trump-inspired jewelry while on Instagram Live with Fat Joe.

“What it say?” Joe asked to which Kodak responded, “Trump ties!”

In late January, Trump commuted Kodak’s 46-month prison sentence for federal weapons charges. Taking to Twitter, Kodak thanked the president. “I Want To Thank The President @RealDonaldTrump For His Commitment To Justice Reform And Shortening My Sentence,” he tweeted. “I Also Want To Thank Everyone For Their Support And Love. It Means More Than You Will Ever Know. I Want To Continue Giving Back, Learning And Growing.”

In addition to his custom ring, Kodak celebrated his homecoming with a set of icy accessories from jeweler Johnny Dang including a diamond grill with ruby stones, 18-carat white gold Rolex Presidential, and diamond COVID-free mask and sanitizer case.

Meanwhile, the Florida rapper continues to give back to his community. Earlier this month, he offered to pay college tuition for the children of two FBI agents who were shot and killed in the line of duty. He also announced that he will be launching a $100,000 scholarship at Nova Southeastern University in honor of Meadow Pollack, one of the victims of the 2018 Parkland mass shooting.

“They [were] young and none of them deserved this. They wasn’t in this life to be killed,” Kodak said during a tribute ceremony at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. on Sunday, marking the third anniversary of the mass shooting that claimed the lives of 17 people.

Despite his commutation, his legal woes are not over. The 23-year-old still faces a felony charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina.
