Victory lap.

Less than two years after dropping his platinum-certified debut, Lil Tjay keeps the momentum going with his sophomore album Destined 2 Win.

The 21-track set, which he calls the “album of the year,” boasts appearances from Offset, Saweetie, Moneybagg Yo, Tyga, and Toosii, in addition to the previously-released singles “Headshot” featuring Polo G and Fivio Foreign and “Calling My Phone” with 6LACK.

“The reason I named the album Destined 2 Win cause I always felt like I had something in me that was going to be great,” said Tjay, who also released a documentary to support the release. “It’s just a body of work to highlight my accomplishments. I’m still trying to figure out my lane. Whatever happened in my life is what got me here. If I didn’t go through some of these experiences then I probably wouldn’t be myself.”

The album, which follows 2019’s True 2 Myself, marks a proud moment for the 19-year-old Bronx rapper. “I’m happy for it. There’s nothing I would change about it,” he told Apple Music. “I’m just ready for it. Ready for that moment. Ready for everything that’s about to come.”
