Saweetie Joins Gwen Stefani on 'Slow Clap'

Gwen Stefani teams up with Saweetie on the remix to her new single “Slow Clap.” The irresistible track, Gwen’s first single of 2021, serves as an empowering anthem, complete with an unabashed verse from the newly-single rapper, who adds a little extra sauce.

“I finally made it so make it clap!” says the ICY GRL before declaring, “My favorite position is CEO, check the stats / Me and Gwen Stefani snatchin’ wigs on the track.”

The fun and colorful video, directed by Sophie Muller (No Doubt), finds the dynamic duo taking over a high school gymnasium. A pink-haired Saweetie joins Gwen and her girls as they go from the locker room to the basketball court, jumping rope and slapping hands.

“Slow Clap” follows Gwen’s last single, “Let Me Reintroduce Myself,” which was released in December. Saweetie is now readying her debut album Pretty Bitch Music featuring the Doja Cat-assisted “Best Friend.”
