Nicki Minaj is sharing her support for Coi Leray after a now viral video.

The clip shows the crowd at Houston’s Toyota Center blankly looking on while the “No More Parties” rapper performs during H-Town Memorial Day Mayhem on Saturday. After the video gained traction on social media, Coi faced criticism.

Taking to Twitter, she responded to her haters with an emotional message. “The love use to outweigh the hate but now the hate outweigh the love and it’s slowing destroying me,” she wrote. “Feel like y’all tryna kill me. That’s why I stay out the way gotta make sure I keep my distance.”

But despite her detractors, she received support from fans and famous friends including Nicki Minaj, who shared some encouraging words for the 24-year-old rapper.

“Don’t do that. Chin up. Always remember this, when black ppl not fkn w|you #TheyWillBoo,” wrote Nicki. “Those ppl were on their feet. That means they may not have known the song, but they were interested in getting to know more— so they were observing u. Charge it to the game & move on.”

Nicki’s response was just what Coi needed to lift her up. “Thank you so much for this,” she responded. “This means everything and more to me. Wow. I’m speechless. You just gave me so much more hope. Thank you again.”

Added Coi, “My weekend went from wtf to the best weekend ever . Thank you Nicki.”

Asian Doll, Rubi Rose, and Polo G were also among those who voiced their support for Coi. “That’s always how it b when u 1st come in Compared to when u really blow u gotta block that shit out & keep goin crazy u got it,” said the “RAPSTAR” hitmaker.
