Ray J and Wendy Williams Step Out Together in NYC

Ray J and Wendy Williams’ friendship is going strong.

A day after their brunch date, the two were spotted again in New York City on Sunday afternoon. According to The Daily Mail, the 56-year-old talk show host “appeared to be in great spirits” as she exited a building with the 40-year-old reality star. Williams paid homage to Diana Ross in a Supreme sweatshirt while walking arm-in-arm with Ray J.

The paparazzi photos quickly went viral as social media questioned their relationship status.

However, Williams shut down the romance rumors, revealing that she and the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star are just friends. “Guess who’s treating me to brunch? He’s very cute & very married,” she captioned a selfie of her and Ray J from the day before. “I’m close to his family & he is my little brother.”

Ray J remains married to his wife Princess Love. He filed for divorce last September, but the couple has since reconciled. In February, Ray said they were moving to Miami to give their marriage another shot.

“We’re in a good place right now, we’re in Miami, we’re gonna move down to Miami, I don’t think we’re going back to Los Angeles any time soon,” he told “TMZ Live.” “We’ve been taking care of the kids, they love it out here, and it’s given us a different mood and outlook on life. God is good, we’re taking it one day at a time.”

Williams, who divorced her husband Kevin Hunter Sr. in 2019, was most recently in a short-lived relationship with Mike Esterman, a celebrity booking agent and talent manager who won her “Date Wendy” competition segment.
