MTV's 'Cribs' Returns with Big Sean, Rick Ross, & Tinashe

MTV’s “Cribs” is back.

Over two decades since its debut, MTV has announced that its iconic series will return with all-new episodes starting Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Each 30-minute episode will take viewers beyond the security gates and inside the homes of the rich and famous for an exclusive peek at their lavish lifestyles.

This season will feature home tours from Big Sean, Rick Ross, and Tinashe, as well as Nick Young, Tia Mowry, Marsai Martin, JoJo Siwa, Scott Disick, Martha Stewart, Jordyn Woods, Kathy Griffin, and Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross.

“‘Cribs’ didn’t simply introduce the celebreality genre, it created a blueprint for how we engage on social media,” said Nina L. Diaz, President of Content and Chief Creative Officer, MTV Entertainment Group. “We are thrilled to usher in a new era of this iconic franchise for audiences around the world.”

“Cribs” originally aired in September 2000 and featured over 185 celebrities including Mariah Carey, whose infamous 2002 episode was the most watched. The show was revived as a short-form series on Snapchat Discover in 2017.
