DaBaby Drops 'Whole Lotta Money' Freestyle

DaBaby has a whole lot to say.

After returning to the stage at Summer Jam, the embattled rapper has released a freestyle to BIA’s Nicki Minaj-assisted hit “Whole Lotta Money.” On the nearly two-minute track, Billion Dollar Baby shows that he hasn’t let the controversy slow him down.

In the video, which stars “DaBaby canceled ass,” he makes light of his recent troubles, showing himself wiping away tears. “Ni**as think I’m somewhere cryin’ with tissues,” he raps.

In between dancing in the streets and flaunting his cash, he boasts about making $20 million last year and shouts out Sha’Carri Richardson. “I run laps around all of these ni**as / Call that shit Sha’Carri Richardson,” he says while holding up a photo of the track star.

The clip also includes footage from Sunday’s performance at Summer Jam, one of his only remaining festival gigs, where he addressed the backlash over his homophobic comments. “I never, ever meant to offend anybody or say anything to make anybody feel any type of way live on that stage a few weeks ago,” he said in a pre-recoded video montage.
