Pusha T Reacts to Drake's 'Certified Lover Boy' Cover Art

  /  09.01.2021

Pusha T is keeping his feud with Drake alive.

Earlier in the week, Drake revealed the cover for his album Certified Lover Boy, which received a mixed response on social media. One critic on Instagram took issue with the Damien Hirst-designed artwork, which features 12 pregnant woman emojis and was inspired by Hirst’s spot paintings.

“Tell me the (art) world values mediocre White cis-male artists above all else Without telling me the (art) world values mediocre White cis-male artists above all else,” wrote the critic. “Thanks @champagnepapi for reaffirming the utter mediocrity that rises to the top of the art world!”

Pusha T seemingly agreed with the commentary. Drake’s longtime nemesis offered his co-sign by “liking” the comment, but later removed the like.

This comes as Drake and Kanye reignited their beef. Some also believe that Drake was taking shots at Pusha with his verse on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal.”

“All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know,” Drake raps. “45, 44 (burned out), let it go / Ye ain’t changin’ shit for me, it’s set in stone.”

Prior to this, Pusha fueled the years-long rivalry with his verse on Pop Smoke’s “Tell the Vision,” which includes the lyrics, “The crown is only for the king and they tryna place it on a clown.”
