Ja Rule and Fat Joe to Face Off in Verzuz

Verzuz is closing out the summer with one more battle.

Ja Rule and Fat Joe are set to face off in the next Verzuz, which is slated to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 14, from New York City. It will stream live on Instagram and Triller starting at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Swizz Beatz made the announcement on Instagram. “The summer ain’t over!! FAT JOE VS JA RULE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH,” he wrote.

Ja Rule and Fat Joe have plenty of hits between them including their collaborations “What’s Luv?” and “New York.” Ja had previously challenged his longtime rival 50 Cent to a Verzuz battle, but 50 shot down the idea.

This is the latest Verzuz matchup following The LOX vs. Dipset and Keith Sweat vs. Bobby Brown.
