Big Sean surprises fans with his first project in over a year, What You Expect, produced by Hit-Boy. In addition to “What a Life,” the 6-track EP features a collaboration with Babyface Ray and 42 Dugg (“Offense”) and “Loyal to a Fault” with Bryson Tiller and Lil Durk, for which he also released a video. Other tracks include “Chaos,” “Into It,” and the SWV-sampled “The One.”

“What You Expect” arrives on the heels of Sean’s explosive L.A. Leakers freestyle and ahead of his upcoming album.

“Album coming out crazy,” he told fans. “It’s not done but I still felt like it was time to give the people who do f**k wit me n Hit some more music, love! N these 6 slap harder than most y’all albums anyway.”

Sean and Hit-Boy’s collaborative efforts date back to 2012’s G.O.O.D. Music hit “Clique.” In September 2020, they joined forces on Sean’s album Detroit 2.
