Stream Silk Sonic's Debut Album 'An Evening With Silk Sonic'

It’s showtime.

After much anticipation, Silk Sonic–the duo consisting of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak–presents one of the year’s most anticipated releases, An Evening With Silk Sonic. In addition to the chart-topping smash “Leave the Door Open,” the 9-track album includes the roller rink-ready “Skate” and “Smokin Out the Window.”

Thundercat and special guest host Bootsy Collins join the duo on “After Last Night.” Other highlights include “Fly as Me,” “777,” and “Put On a Smile.”

“This album was basically made in the middle of a pandemic when both me and Andy’s shows were canceled and for a while there it felt like we were never going to play a show again. So we came up with this fantasy show hosted by Bootsy Collins,” Bruno told “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.” “We hope people get this feeling that when you close your eyes, me and Andy are in your living room or your car jamming.”

Silk Sonic hopes to eventually tour the album, but first, they will perform at the Soul Train Awards on Nov. 28.
