Watch a Teaser for Season 3 of 'Atlanta'

The wait is almost over.

After nearly four years, “Atlanta” is set to return for a fourth season this March. In a new teaser, titled “Shillin,” Earn (Donald Glover), Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles (Brian Tyree Henry), Darius (LaKeith Stanfield), and Van (Zazie Beetz) are seen hawking household products in a series of foreign ads. Soundtracked by a cover of OutKast’s “So Fresh, So Clean,” the comical clip ends with Paper Boi announcing, “These products scare me.”

Season 3 takes place mostly overseas and finds the cast navigating their new surroundings amid a European tour.

In September 2020, the pandemic forced the FX series to shut down before filming resumed at the top of 2021. The third and fourth seasons of “Atlanta” were shot and written together.

“I align the seasons I think, to me, like Kanye records,” Glover said at the 2018 Emmys FYC screening. “I feel like this is our Graduation. This is probably our most accessible but also the realest — an honest version of it — and I feel like the most enjoyable, like the third album. We were all on iMessage together and kind of talking about it, and I think people were really hungry to like beat ourselves, which is great.”

Season 3 of “Atlanta” premieres with a two-episode opener on March 24. On Halloween, Glover released a minute-long trailer offering a first glimpse at the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Glover briefly returned to Twitter on Wednesday (Jan. 12) with a message for his haters.
