Julia Fox Reportedly Had a 'Secret Romance' with Drake Before Kanye West

Drake and Julia Fox were a thing before Kanye West.

According to Page Six, the Uncut Gems actress had a “hot-and-heavy secret romance” with the Certified Lover Boy a year prior to dating his former rival.

Fox reportedly told Ye about her relationship with Drake and Ye was not thrilled about it.

Drake originally reached out to Fox in an Instagram DM to compliment her on her role in the 2019 Adam Sandler film.

After Fox ended her relationship with her longtime boyfriend, Peter Artemiev, she reconnected with Drake. Insiders say they met up in New York in February 2020, and the “Way 2 Sexy” rapper invited her and a friend to the Bowery Hotel for drinks.

Drake also showed up to Bloomingdale’s where Fox was doing a promotional appearance the following day.

“They closed down the store so he could visit,” said a source.

A few days after Valentine’s Day, Fox flew to Los Angeles, where Drake gifted her with two Birkin bags. She also stayed at his Toronto mansion, but her trip was cut short amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Then she went to [his hometown] Toronto to stay with him,” claimed the insider. “They were closing the border [between Canada and the US], and she had to get back home.”

Fox later rekindled her relationship with Artemiev, with whom she has a 1-year-old son. After splitting from Artemiev, Fox met up with Kanye West on New Year’s Eve and the rest is history.

“I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection,” Fox wrote after one of their dates. “Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.”
