Cardi B to Guest Star on 'Baby Shark's Big Show'

Cardi B is swimming with the sharks.

The Grammy-winning rapper and her famous family will guest star on Nickelodeon’s animated preschool series “Baby Shark’s Big Show,” it was announced Thursday during Nickelodeon’s upfront presentation.

According to Billboard, Cardi plays Sharki B, described as “the biggest star in the seven seas — flashy, awe-inspiring, and ruthlessly fun — but always 100% herself and fin-spires other fishies to do the same.”

In the episode, which airs April 15, Baby Shark and his best friend William meet Sharki B and learn her viral song-and-dance craze, “The Seaweed Sway.” Cardi will be joined by husband Offset and 3-year-old daughter Kulture in the episode.

“The Seaweed Sway” will also be included on the compilation Sing, Dance & Sway the Nick Jr. Way, which will be available a week before on April 8.

Cardi’s love for “Baby Shark” is no secret. In January 2019, she posted a video soundtracked by the viral song. She also revealed that Kulture was a fan of “the whole Baby Shark mixtape.”
