Video: John Legend & The Roots Perform at Miss Universe Competition

John Legend and the legendary Roots crew serenaded the lovely contestants of the Miss Universe 2010 last night in Las Vegas, adding an air of sophistication to the evening gown portion of the event. The ladies modeled their ensembles as they walked around Legend’s piano, set center stage, as The Roots backed up the Ohio native on an extended version of his 2006 single “Save Room.” The two musical acts are currently promoting their joint release Wake Up!, a collection of covers due in stores September 21. Ride out to some beautiful music for some beautiful competitors.
