Swizz Beatz doesn’t seem to have any problems nailing guest features or settling on a label for his upcoming second solo album – the only thing he appears to be struggling with is its name. The Bronx native, who previously announced his next LP would be called The Perception of Greatness, has had a change of heart, taking to his Twitter page to reveal that he’s settled on Haute Living as the official title.
“MY NEW ALBUM NAME IS (HAUTE LIVING ) BECAUSE THATS MY ART ,FASHION, MUSIC, LIFE STYLE HAUTE MEANS THE HIGHEST LEVEL!” he tweeted while in a studio session with Mary J. Blige. “SWIZZ BEATZ PRESENT @HAUTELIVING THE ALBUM FOR MUSIC ART FASHION FOR OUR PEOPLE……..GET WITH THE HAUTE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The Grammy-winning artist recently stated that he had parted ways with his former label Universal Motown and signed a deal with Everest Entertainment and Atlantic/Warner Records to release the album.
“I couldn’t ask to be in a better place right now,” said the 31-year-old. “Both Everest and the Atlantic/Warner team have been great and I’m looking forward to sharing this project with true fans of good music.”
Haute Living is set to feature high profile guest appearances from Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne, Coldplay, John Legend, Drake and T.I., and is due in stores this fall.
