Young Jeezy is giving the drummer some on Thug Motivation 103. The Atlanta rapper has enlisted Travis Barker for a track on his long-awaited album.
The Blink-182 member plays drums on the Drumma Boy-produced intro to Jeezy’s fourth LP. “I did an intro with Drumma Boy, maybe a couple of months ago,” Barker exclusively told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud. “It was amazing. It was like this epic, Braveheart-sounding intro.”
Drumma Boy, who has recently been in the lab with Raheem DeVaughn and Angie Stone, shared a few more details on TM103. “If I had to say one word, it would be classic. It’s gonna be a lot of love put into this record. It’s gonna be a lot of stories, drama, effects… It’s gon’ be a classic,” he stated.
The beatmaker promises the oft-delayed project will arrive by the year’s end and will be worth the wait. “You’re gonna get it this year, definitely. No questions—guaranteed. You heard it out of my mouth.”
