Eminem and Royce da 5'9

Prepare for an evil summer. Detroit natives Eminem and Royce da 5’9”, collectively known as Bad Meets Evil, are teaming up to release a joint EP titled Hell: The Sequel on June 14.

The EP, which comes on the heels of Em signing Royce and his Slaughterhouse supergroup to Shady Records, is set to feature production from D12’s Mr. Porter, Mobb Deep’s Havoc, Bangladesh, DJ Khalil, and more. Though the two feuded in the early 2000s, the upcoming release has solidified their business relationship.

“Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio,” said Em in a statement. “At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.”

His partner-in-rhyme also echoed his sentiments. “I’m excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now,” said Royce. “We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we’re working on the ‘Monster’ that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady.”
