Lupe Fiasco introduces his story in the promo for Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1. Due September 25, the album features the singles “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free),” “Bitch Bad,” and “Lamborghini Angels.”

“This is an exercise in psychological warfare. To challenge your definitions. To stir up the conversation. To tell the story of America,” says the Chicago MC as he sits at a dining table in the black-and-white promo.

After Food & Liquor II and its sequel, Lupe plans to release one more album for Atlantic Records before going his own way. “#FL2 1&2 + #Skulls = Contract Fulfilled then off into the sunset to make what I feel… #Liberation,” he tweeted.
