Kanye West is in your speakers and will soon be in your closet. The fashion-forward rapper has collaborated with French brand A.P.C. on a line of men’s clothing.
The capsule collection will go on sale July 14. A.P.C. posted a photo of a pair of jeans with a red tag that said “A.P.C. Kanye.” The photo also appears as an ad in French Vogue.
The brand made the announcement on Twitter, writing, “A.P.C. KANYE CAPSULE COLLECTION JULY 14.”
W magazine previously revealed that the collection will include jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies.
Kanye’s friend Virgil Abloh tweeted, “He’s a designer. We are all designers first. Creative black kids from Chicago running around the world getting ideas out. Don’t let non-believers limit you. Why? Cause this ad wouldn’t be in French Vogue this month otherwise.”
The hip-hop mogul forayed into women’s fashion with his Dw line, which he unveiled at Paris Fashion Week.
UPDATE: Kanye returned to tweet about the collaboration. “Thank you Jean Touitou for letting me create with you,” he said in reference to A.P.C.’s founder.
