Queen Bey helped First Lady Michelle Obama celebrate her 50th birthday at a private party at the White House on Saturday. The star-studded guest list included politicians and entertainers such as Jay Z, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Magic Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Smokey Robinson, and Gladys Knight.

Sparkling in a short gold fringe dress and heels, Beyoncé took the stage to perform a special set for the First Lady and guests. The singer posted pictures of herself with the Obamas’ dog Sunny and on the plane en route to D.C. Blue Ivy also joined her mother at the White House, petting the dog in her white dress.

While no dinner was served, guests enjoyed drinks and dessert and worked up a sweat on the dance floor. President Obama delivered an emotional speech to his wife and even got down while doing the Dougie.

Cell phones and cameras were not allowed inside, but media crews captured some of the guests as they arrived.

“We had such a good time with the 1st family in dc tonight!” tweeted Jennifer Hudson.
